Ülgün, with its Turkish name, is a touristic and historical city located on the coast of the Adriatic Sea in Montenegro. Ulcinj is also the port city in the south of Montenegro. It is close to the Albanian border and has some of the most famous beaches in the country. Ulcinj is the agricultural town of Montenegro. The palace of the communist leader of Yugoslavia, Josip Broz Tito, is in Valdanos Bay. Don quixote writer Cervantes lived in prison in the Ulcinj castle and the prison is now operated as a hotel.

There are direct flights from Turkey to Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro, and the journey takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. The bus ride from Podgorica airport to ulcinj takes about 2 hours.
